In May of each year,McNeilly Center for Children
hosts McNeilly in May,a festive event that coincides
with the Kentucky Derby. Our patrons and friends
come wearing fancy hats and party clothes. They enjoy
betting on the race and bidding in the silent auction.
The change in our economy in the last few months has
impacted everyone we know. In acknowledgement of the
current climate, we are changing the format of this year’s
McNeilly in May. Our intent is to respond accordingly and
stay true to the two original goals of the event: to provide
our guests with an event to remember and to raise
money and awareness that will benefit McNeilly’s
600 children and their families.
This year’s event will be a virtual McNeilly in May.
We’re hosting it at our website where you can “bet”
and win on our children’s future. By investing in
a child’s future, you are also ensuring the health
and well-being of our city and its economy.
