2. What is the cost for care, and what are your hours of operation?
Fees are income based on a sliding scale. McNeilly also accepts DHS certificates.
McNeilly provides only full-time care to infant, toddler and preschool children. The McNeilly Toddler & Preschool site (main site, as well as the Infant/Toddler Center operate Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 5:30 pm. Nashville Child Center (McNeilly at NCC) operates Monday - Friday from 6:30 am - 5:30 pm. All School -Age Sites are available 6:00 am - 6:00 pm.
3. What should I bring with me to my enrollment meeting/tour?
Please bring your child's shot records, and birth certificate, your social security card and picture ID, and a $10 enrollment fee.
4. Who is eligible for enrollment at McNeilly centers?
Child care is open to all parents who work, are in job training, or who are attending school. At our various sites we accept infants, pre-school and school-age children ages 6 weeks through 12 years. Enrollment shall be granted without discrimination in regard to race, color, sex, age, disability, religion or national origin. If there is no opening your name will be added to the waiting list.
5. Is McNeilly licensed or accredited?
Yes, McNeilly is licensed by the State of Tennessee and is a 3 Star (highest possible) program. Our preschool and infant/toddler programs are accredited by NAEYC (National Assocation for the Education of Young Children).
6. What curriculum is used in your classrooms?
Our youngest children at the Infant/Toddler site and preschool sites use The Creative Curriculum. Our preschool programs use DLM Early Childhood Express, and our 4 and 5 Year olds use Frog Street Pre-K Curriculum.
